Deweto began in the sugar industry, building several of the first cane sugar factories in East Africa. That work led into cement plants, then into the wider industrial sector, where we have completed major contracts in process, telecom and infrastructure.
We are an MEI contractor (mechanical, electrical and instrumentation) with civil contracting tied directly to installing plant and structures. Deweto holds a Grade 1 specialization as an electro-mechanical contractor. The company was incorporated in the United Kingdom, with procurement and logistics run from the Netherlands and offices in a number of African countries.

Yes. Our civil contracting is tied to plant and structure installation, so one contractor covers the foundations and the systems.
